Now on its 4th week of distributing food packs to stranded students due to the ECQ, the Task Force CoVID-19 gave a twist to this batch of food packs by giving away #RainbowLollipops with messages of hope inside the packs.
With this step, the Chancellor wanted the students to see the lollipops as a #CandyOfHope and remember the 'sweet' things in life despite the current mood brought by the ECQ in the community. #ChancysCandyOfHope wanted students to look forward for better and brighter days after the fight against the new novel coronavirus, giving messages of hope in their food packs.
The school administration is aware of the challenges on the mental well-being of the students because of the ECQ and are living far from their families. The Chancellor wanted to remind the students of hope and that school is still a home away from home, and a second family.
The Chancellor is stepping up in continuing support for stranded students as classes are still suspended because of the ECQ. The Task Force is still accepting donations for the weekly operations for affected constitutents.
