IICT was established pursuant to BOR Resolution No. 62 Series of 1999. Initially it offered Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2001. Currently, the institute is offering two undergraduate programs: Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) with tracks in Database and Network Systems and Bachelor of Science in Computer Applications (BSCA) with tracks in Embedded Systems and Internet of Things.

BSIT students focused on software applications, network infrastructure, Data analytics, computer programming and the likes.

BSCA students focused on hardware (sensors, circuits, and the likes), internet of things, microcontrollers
