MSU Tawi-Tawi hosted a short welcome program for the officials from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Central and Regional Office IX for a one-day institutional engagement on June 10 at the Conference Room, Sabdani J. Bulante.
The program commenced with a welcome ceremony followed by a guided tour of academic and administrative facilities. The engagement offered an opportunity for CHED to conduct a comprehensive assessment of MSU-TCTO’s institutional landscape and to engage in direct dialogue with university administrators, faculty, and staff.
Representing the CHED Central Office were Executive Director Atty. Cinderella Filipina S. Benitez-Jaro, Ms. Roscel D. Bajet, and Dr. Cherrie Melanie A. Diego, Mr. John Paul D. Dela Cruz, Ms. Remedios S. Talingdan, and Dr. Marivic V. Iriberri. From the CHED Regional Office IX were Atty. Marco Cicero F. Domingo, Dr. Joseph Lou C. Sta. Teresa, and Engr. Janeny B. Domingsil.
This high-level visit is part of CHED’s commitment to inclusive higher education governance, aimed at deepening support for state universities and colleges (SUCs) through on-ground monitoring and collaboration.
