MSU-TCTO Hosts 4th Emerald Lecture Series, Showcases R&D Agenda
The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension spearheaded the 4th Emerald Lecture Series and Cascading of MSU-TCTO's Research and Development Agenda along with the stakeholders and constituents of the University on October 22 and 24, respectively. During the 2-day program, Asst. Prof. Fernigil Colicol, PhD, delivered a topic on the "Indigenous Knowledge System and Practices Integration into the K-12 IPED Program: Analysis Based on Cultural Development." Vice Chancellor Wilham Hailaya, PhD, presented the MSU-TCTO's Research and Development Agenda to the stakeholders on the 1st day, while Vice Chancellor Richard Muallil, PhD, presented it to the constituents of the University on the 2nd day. Moreover, Chancellor Prof. Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali, PhD, happily discussed the updated policies related to research and publications that will inspire more of our researchers. The R&D Agenda was developed in accordance with international, national, local, and institutional frameworks, thereby guaranteeing that the identified R&D priorities are effectively responsive to global, national, local, and institutional objectives. This ensures that the research produced is pertinent to the University's goals and the needs of the local community. Through the engagement of stakeholders and the University's constituents, MSU-TCTO is advancing its efforts to promote innovative and culturally relevant research that aligns with both local and global objectives.
