MSU-TCTO, other universities, and agencies sign MoU on Agri-fishery
Members of the State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), regional and national agencies, and private entities gathered at the Microtel in Davao City last August 16, 2023, for the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding for the Bangsamoro Agri-fishery Research Development and Extension Network.
The Bangsamoro Agri-fishery Research, Development, and Extension Network serves as a pivotal agreement that underscores the shared dedication of its participants. All members, including its representatives, demonstrated their unwavering commitment to fostering cooperation and synergy in the realm of agricultural and fisheries research, development, and extension.
Apart from being a formal agreement, the MoU is symbolic gesture of their wholehearted dedication to advancing these sectors. This collective effort spanning various sectors and stakeholders aims to drive progress by pooling resources, expertise, and knowledge.
Through the establishment of a unified network, the diverse members of the Bangsamoro Agri-fishery Research, Development, and Extension Network are poised to pave the way for innovative solutions, sustainable practices, and transformative advancements that will benefit the community, the environment, and the entire Bangsamoro region.
Chancellors and Presidents of SUCs, Minister, RDE Director of MAFAR, and other heads signed for their respective agencies. While Asst. Prof. Gerly-Ayn Tupas, Manager of the University Hatchery, signed for the University, representing the Chancellor.
This newly forged partnership and collaboration will strengthen the University's goal of Creating Opportunities and Transforming Lives in the agri-fishery research programs and extension networks.
