From March 3 to 7, 2025, MSU-Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU-TCTO) took a major step toward digital transformation by conducting the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the Learning Management System (LMS) and Enrollment System at the MSU-TCTO Innovative Laboratory (iLab). This initiative, a collaborative project between MBPS Cabling Corporation and Remax International, Inc., was designed to ensure that both systems meet the university’s academic and administrative needs while equipping personnel with the necessary technical expertise for their implementation, maintenance, and long-term usage.

For the first two days, key university officials and personnel from OVCAA, ICTO, the Registrar, Admissions Office, Cashier, Accounting, Deans, and Chairpersons from various colleges actively participated in the UAT of the Learning Management System (LMS). This system aims to revolutionize digital learning by streamlining course management, student engagement, and online academic processes. Participants rigorously tested the system’s features, accessibility, and integration capabilities, ensuring its readiness for full-scale deployment to enhance the teaching and learning experience at MSU-TCTO.

The testing continued from March 5 to 7, focusing on the UAT of the Enrollment System, a critical component in modernizing student registration and academic record management. University offices assessed the system’s efficiency, reliability, and user-friendliness, particularly in automated student registration, real-time data processing, payment integration, and secure record management. This evaluation ensured that the system could handle large volumes of student transactions with speed, accuracy, and security, significantly improving administrative processes.

These consecutive UAT sessions mark a major milestone in MSU-TCTO’s journey toward a fully digital and interconnected academic environment. By integrating cutting-edge technology into its educational and administrative framework, the university is paving the way for a more efficient, accessible, and globally competitive institution. This transformation underscores MSU-TCTO’s commitment to innovation, excellence, and the future of digital education.
