Tawi-Tawi Provincial Government Recognizes Outstanding Youth Scholars

MSU Tawi-Tawi participated in the General Assembly and Releasing of Allowance for the beneficiaries of the Youth Inspirational Scholarship (YIS) on February 28 at the Capitol Grounds, Tubig Boh, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi.

The Youth Inspirational Scholarship (YIS) program is an educational initiative by the Provincial Government of Tawi-Tawi that supports deserving underprivileged students in pursuing higher education.

During the event, YIS scholars who graduated with Latin honors in the 2023-2024 academic year were honored with plaques and incentives. Twenty-six (26) students from MSU-TCTO were recognized for their achievements.

The event was graced by Provincial Governor Hon. Yshmael Sali, and attended by officials including Chancellor Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali, Head Executive Assistant and Asst. Dean of the College of Law Tawi-Tawi Extension Atty. Datu Esma Mikee Maruhom, Vice Governor Alsyed Sali, Board Members, TRAC President Dr. Mutti Asaali, TTCJC President Cot. Satta Laja, and other guests.

In this event, the Provincial Government of Tawi-Tawi reaffirms its dedication to the youth, promoting academic excellence, and building a brighter future for all.
