TRAC, MSU-TCTO Forge Academic Partnership Through MoU Signing
The Tawi-Tawi Regional Agricultural College (TRAC) and the Mindanao State University - Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU-TCTO) have officially entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in academic excellence, research productivity, and inclusive development in Tawi-Tawi. The signing ceremony was held on May 20, 2025 at the Sabdani Bulante Hall, marking a significant milestone in inter-institutional cooperation.
The agreement outlines commitments from both institutions to enhance academic collaboration, training and capacity building, and access to facilities and resources. Through this partnership, TRAC and MSU-TCTO aim to foster institutional linkages by conducting joint activities in teaching, research, training, and community engagement.
During the ceremony, TRAC President Dr. Sitti Amina J. Mohammad expressed gratitude for the collaboration, emphasizing the value of strong partnerships in advancing education and development in the region. She remarked, "This MoU is a testament to the power of collaboration. Through shared expertise and resources, we can uplift academic institutions in Tawi-Tawi and create meaningful opportunities for students and researchers alike."
MSU-TCTO Chancellor Dr. Mary Joyce Z. Guinto-Sali reaffirmed the University's commitment to improving the quality of education in Tawi-Tawi and expressed full support for TRAC's initiatives. The signing was witnessed by University Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Dr. Wilham Hailaya and TRAC Faculty Trustee and Union President Asst.
